ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Pambula Beach Flexible School is a Catholic School in the Edmund Rice tradition. There are 22 Flexible Schools throughout Australia who offer a full-time and multiyear secondary education program for young people who have disengaged from mainstream schooling. Enrolled young people may express a broad range of complex education and social needs and flexible schools respond with a variety of flexible and innovative teaching and learning practices including vocational planning and the development of social connectedness.
The purpose of a Flexible School is to provide young people with a varied and holistic set of learning experiences supporting them to identify and pursue an individual transition to adulthood, employment, further education and training and social connectedness.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to the success of our school we have a variety of new roles. In 2024, our enrolment increased by 57%. A powerful affirmation from the community that our school works. In order to support greater numbers of young people, we need more terrific humans to join our team in 2025 and beyond.
We are looking for an Outdoor Education teacher to join our team in 2025. This full-time position works collaboratively with the Head of Campus.

This will challenge, excite, and ignite your desire to take young people on lofty leaps in their academic and personal development.
This job builds great long term community connection. If you like stronger relationships with students and families than your regular teaching gig, start typing your cover letter.
