- Salary range: $91,587-$136,997 per annum
- Allowance: Tier 3 $15,764.02 per annum
ABOUT US
St Joseph's Catholic Flexible School offers a full-time and multiyear secondary education program for young people who have disengaged from mainstream schooling. Young people typically express a broad range of complex education and social needs, and Flexible Schools respond with a variety of flexible and innovative teaching and learning practices, including vocational planning and the development of social connectedness.
The purpose of an Edmund Rice Education Flexible School is to provide young people with a varied and holistic set of learning experiences which enable them to identify and pursue an individual transition to adulthood, employment, further education and training and social connectedness.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Middle Leader- Inclusive Education Coordinator is responsible for leading the school’s operational and strategic approach to Inclusive Education and acts under the direction of Head of Campus.
The role of the Middle Leader – Inclusive Education Coordinator is pivotal in fostering an environment that prioritizes the personalised learning of young people within both the Darwin and Alice Springs campuses of St Joseph’s Catholic Flexible School. This position is integral to the school's operational approach to young people's education and wellbeing, ensuring a supportive and nurturing learning environment.

ABOUT YOU
Essential
- Understanding of and commitment to the values of a Catholic educational system of schools in the Edmund Rice tradition.
- Current and valid Ochre Card/ Registered teacher with TRB and a current and valid Northern Territory Driver’s License
- Demonstrated high levels of ability in developing and implementing a range of learning choices which meet the diverse characteristics, needs and learning styles of young people
- Proven senior leadership experience, both strategic and operational, characterised by strong organisational, administrative, communication, and leadership skills, particularly in relation to areas outlined in this position.
- Able to demonstrate the high-level communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills necessary in the context of relating to work colleagues, young people, parents/carers in a cross-cultural environment.
- Proven ability to support a school environment /parent or carers connect with services/agencies to support the needs of at risk youth
